The Green Treasure Forest Tour

In 1975, the Green Treasure Forest Tour received the National Award in Education from the Arbor Day Foundation. This 30-minute narrated tour on a motorized surrey winds through an industrial forest of trees that are indigenous to the area. The trees are marked and include Tamarack or Eastern Larch, Black Ash, Elm, Basswood or Linden, Yellow Birch, and Sugar Maple.
